Today, we have a pretty simple post. I was looking for a song called Flower, Sun, Rain 's lyrics. It is well known for playing during an iconic moment of Return of Ultraman 's Episode 34 . Not only that, but it inspired famous game developer Goichi Suda into making a whole game based on the lyrics' meaning. You might know it for its localized DS port, Flower Sun and Rain: Murder and Mystery in Paradise . These lyrics can bring some insight into the games' themes: which are told in a vague, daydreamy manner; causing a lot of players to struggle with such cryptic storytelling . Apparently the translation that's circulating on the internet is so horrible that my poor Japanese skills could point that out at a glance . How can someone translate 笑えない as "unamusing man"?
